This is a lovely Italian cafe and eaterie, serving good Italian cuisine and with a truly child friendly outlook! The food is all authentic and home made, and a great deal of thought has been given to making this cafe as welcoming to young families as possible. They provide children’s sized portions of all dishes (such as ‘ciabatinis’, pizza and pasta, and little cakes), but the piece de resistance for me is the children’s area upstairs (buggies can be left downstairs) – a spacious room with tables, chairs, a comfy leather sofa, children’s chairs, high chairs, a variety of toys and books. The entrance to this room has a stair gate. The toilet facilities have also been well thought out, as the toilet is low level – ideal for children, there is also a toddler toilet seat and baby change table.
The cafe can host children’s parties, and special events will be held here soon. Details will be added to the events calendar in due course.
