Capture the Parents!
A unique exhibition opens shortly at the Founders Room, The Dome, Brighton. For the last three months children, aged 7 and under, from the Brighton & Hove area, have been snapping their unsuspecting parents or carers with cameras, and sending us the evidence.
From the hundreds of entries we received, our judging panel selected the best 20 to feature in the exhibition. Dates of the event are: 6-14th April 2012
The judges selecting the photos for exhibition were:
Zoe Ball (Presenter, Radio 2)
Steven Bassam (Member of the House of Lords)
Helen Cammock (Former director Photofringe, freelance photographer)
Guy Lloyd (Presenter, Juice Radio)
Gordon MacDonald (Former editor Photoworks, freelance photographer)

The exhibition will be in the Founders Room, The Dome for the Children’s Festival (www.thechildrensfestival.co.uk) from 6th – 14th April (not 8th, 13th), available to view between 10.00 and 17.00, or from 1.00-8.00pm – see website for exact times.
We are also running two free photography drop-in workshops, called Connected Families, which are sponsored by The Big Lottery Fund.
They are: 1.30-3.00 & 3.15-4.45 on Sat 14th April.
You can dressed up and experiment with taking silly or funny photos in front of our green screen. Open to all Under 11s and their families.
To book a space on a workshop, please go to http://www.eventelephant.com/capturetheparentsconnectedfamiliesworkshop

You do not have to stay for the entire time, but please arrive within the first half an hour otherwise we may let in someone else if demand is great.
