This show is on at the Iron Duke Pub not the church opposite as I thought, so it would have been great to have someone outside directing us to the right place. The space is small and very intimate but perhaps that is part of its charm.
The show consists of 2 main characters, Doktor James and his minion, Timion! There are a host of other smaller characters all played by the same two men and they do this very well, with the helps of video and wigs!!
Honestly my son and I laughed our way through the entire show as Doktor James and Timion played games with the audience, sang songs, gave us tips on how to be really evil and basically entertained us for an hour. It has a really lighthearted feel to it and whilst the programme states that it is for 7-11 year olds I think that basically any age could go and would find it funny. One of our favourite parts was ‘Cake or Bomb?’
I can highly recommend this show and I am already looking forward to seeing what The Giggle Goose come up with next.
